HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Give a listen to the #2 episode of our pocket-sized podcast WHAT? WHY? HOW? to learn how to stick to your writing new year’s resolutions all year long.
Here are three writing prompts to get you fired up about writing in the new year:
(1) New Year’s Missed-Kiss Prompt
At a big New Year’s Eve bash, two lovers are looking for each other so that they can kiss at midnight. However, the party is so large, that they can’t find each other in time.

Write about the end of the New Year’s Party when the two lovers finally reunite and the kisser is trying to break-up with the one-who-was-not-kissed.
(2) Return to the Scene of the New Year’s Crime
